SkyWatch Friday
I love a full moon. And a full moon over a favorite place is even better. It always amazes me how huge the moon looks when it is so low to the horizon, but a quick check, and sure enough, it is still only about half the diameter of my pinky held at arms length, just like when it's high overhead.
I didn't have a tripod, so its a bit blurry, but I still love this picture, and the memories it brings.

I like full moon too.
Beautiful shot.
Very Cool..
I like this - you should just take credit for the blur as an artistic effect. "I had to work hard to get the soft, dreamlike effect in this photo. I hope you like it." :)
Great design -- beautiful colors...
I understand we're going to have a full moon on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday -- I'll have to try to catch it...
What an awesome color! Most of my full shots are boring old white.
It really is beautiful!
Cheers, Klaus
This is excellent. If I were taking it without a tripod, I can assure you it wouldn't even look like a moon. I can only barely see what it is over, but it looks like a desert mesa or something? Whatever it is, the whole thing is magnificent.
I love night sky watching. And the full moon makes the night even more magical. Yours is perfect.
Have a nice day and happy skywatching:-)
This is magical and I agree with Wren. The soft affect is deliberate....Diane
