SkyWatch Friday
Ok, so you can't actually see the sky in this image, but you practically can. You know these cranes are making their way up to the deep blue reaches of the sky, as they continue their migration south.
I so adore cranes, in my childhood in Latvia we had them fly overhead twice a year, birds of longing and longevity, they are wonderful creatures. Thank you so much for this beautiful image.
I love your fun posts on nature and everything else in our beautiful surroundings. All the things that we all miss everyday you are out capturing and I think that is so great. I love that about you echo. The cranes were awesome!

At first I thought 'what kind of geese are these?' and then realized they are cranes. I like the picture a lot.
