very nice shot. If I see a bird llike this in a tree, I never have my camera. Happy SWF.
Wonderful picture of the Kestrel! I have yet to see a Kestrel although they live here (in B.C.) for part of the year. Have a great weekend also! Thanks for stopping by.

The kestrel is such a graceful bird. I like your photo of this one.
What a a catch. I'm never that close.
How wonderful that you were able to catch a photo of a powerful bird. I have the hardest time trying to get birds to stay still long enough so I can take a photo.
I never would have guessed the Falco sparverius as your favorite bird :-)
This is a GREAT photo of a wonderful bird! Looking at that grey sky makes me want to heat up some apple cider. You have been tagged for Ghost It Forward. Come on over if you would like to play!Di
Very good Kestrel snap. You've gotten closer to a kestrel with your lens than I have. Great photo. Have a good weekend!
A typical pose for a Kestel in autumn, on a leafless tree, against a grey sky.
Kestrels always remind me of growing up in the flat land. Many, many of them sit on wires alongside the road in the winter. I think this is a great shot.
Grey Sky, great bird. Thanks for sharing.
I love the birds there are so many I love the one with the blue head also.
