Showy Milkweed is showy in many ways. The
flowers are quite beautiful. The seed pods are very large, and when they finally burst and expel their seeds, it is quite another show to see.

I don't believe I've ever seen this plant. Quite cool. I want to reach out and handle that burst pod of silky looking stuff.
